The Gingerbread Boy

This is a story of “The Gingerbread Boy” by Emily Bolam is about a gingerbread boy. A little old man and a little old woman lived in a little old house. The little old woman wished that she could have a child, so that she made a boy out of gingerbread and put it in the oven. When the oven was opened, the gingerbread boy jumped out the oven and ran away.
The gingerbread boy ran and ran and ran. The old man and woman, cow, house and a farmer told him to stop. The gingerbread boy just laughed and said ’Run as fast as you can. You can’t catch me ---I’m the gingerbread boy!’, then he ran as fast as he can. Then the gingerbread boy stopped at the riverside, a fox came. The fox knew the gingerbread boy would make a good snack. The fox said that he could help the gingerbread boy cross the river. The gingerbread boy jumped on fox’s tail and the fox began to swim. The fox made a trick to the gingerbread boy. Until the gingerbread boy jumped onto fox’s nose, the fox turned his head and… The little gingerbread boy was all gone!
